IMPORTANT NOTE BEFORE READING:
The concept of "Identology" has managed to disguise itself under the guise of advocating for Trans Rights. This article deliberately refrains from labeling any individual as trans or a trans activist within the Identology movement, as the majority of them are not, and it is likely that those who claim to be trans are being deceitful and do not genuinely support the causes they advocate for. However, the pervasive influence of Identology has been so effective that many sources mistakenly attribute the label of trans to Identology proponents.
In fact, many trans people, both famous and unknown, have spoken against Identology. (32)
There are 30 human rights, in the International Declaration of Human Rights. In many countries, trans people lack many of these rights. Trans Rights Activists, (TRAs) advocate for the human rights of trans people in these countries. Identologysts are a different group.
What Is Identology?
Identology is the belief on the existence of gender identities, based on the works of people like Monica Helms, John Money, Magnus Hirschfield, Michel Foucault, Alfred Kinsey and Volkmar Sigusch, and the desire to build a society organized around them. It permeates major organizations, governments, corporations, brands, with the -oftentimes unknowingly- support from numerus celebrities, influencers and a huge portion of the general public. (16)(17)(18)(19)(20)(21)(26)
At the heart of Identology lies the foundational idea that gender, (social construct that is shaped by cultural norms and expectations, wide range of behaviors, presentations, and roles that have been associated with male and female biological sex categories throughout history, from the clothes humans wear to the jobs they pursue, which are not universal or fixed, but rather varies across cultures and time periods), causes people to have internal senses of identity.
Identology argues and violently campaigns for societies to be organized around these gender identities.
Definitions.
Identology starts with the three principal definitions:
1.1 Gender identity: A subjective, internal, deeply felt, sense of identity with the roles, aesthetics, cultural norms, stereotypes and expectations associated with people of the male biological sex, or the female biological sex, in their given culture and times. (1)
1.2 Man: A person with a male gender identity. (2)
1.3 Woman: A person with a female gender identity. (3)
Replacing:
1.4 Man: A person with a subjective, internal, deeply felt, sense of identity with the roles, aesthetics, cultural norms, stereotypes and expectations associated with people of the male biological sex, in their given culture and times. (4)
1.5 Woman: A person with a subjective, internal, deeply felt, sense of identity with the roles, aesthetics, cultural norms, stereotypes and expectations associated with people of the female biological sex, in their given culture and times. (4)
Language
Identologysts, generally can’t, or won’t, properly announce these definitions. (5)(6)(7). Most of the time, they will divert the inquiry when asked, oftentimes they will give circular self referencing tautologies, for example: “A woman/man is anyone who identifies as a woman/man” which offers no useful information about the concepts, or will just try to avoid answering by any means possible.
That said, Identology has a strong and fascistic desire to control speech. Not only do they violently demand for every medical institution, government, awards academies, sports organizations, public facilities, online dating apps, etc. to recognize these definitions, and to accommodate every title in every label, rule book, website, legal document, and every form of written and spoken speech of every person, into these definitions, they also wish for the demonetization, fining, firing, and eventual imprisonment, for anyone who disagrees. (8)(32)
In the mind of some Identologysts, the mere act of pointing out to the colloquial dictionary definition of the word “woman”, “adult human female”, is exactly and literally the same as being a Nazi, they will point out how the nazis burned some books seventy years ago, and will, often, in the same sentence, condemn people who do this to death, by claiming “Nazi Lives Don’t Matter”. (22)(30)
This pillar is based on the forced categorization of commanding the categorization of third person pronouns to be done by gender identity, which means specifically, to use He/Him when referring to people with a subjective, internal, deeply felt, sense of identity with the roles, aesthetics, cultural norms, stereotypes and expectations associated with people of the male biological sex, in their given culture and times, and She/Her when referring to people with a subjective, internal, deeply felt, sense of identity with the roles, aesthetics, cultural norms, stereotypes and expectations associated with people of the female biological sex, in their given culture and times, among others. (9)
Identologysts openly state that they will react violently, and lethally, to anyone who doesn’t comply. (31)
Sexualities
The control of speech is only the first step in the goal of an Identologyst. When the definitions of “man” and “woman” are imposed in such a way, the expectation is of course that every single word or concept related to it, gets adjusted accordingly.
3.1 Homosexual: Man who has a sexual orientation towards men, or woman who has a sexual orientation towards women.
3.2 Heterosexual: Man who has a sexual orientation towards women, or woman who has a sexual orientation towards men.
3.3 Lesbian: Woman who has a sexual orientation towards women.
Replacing and simplifying:
3.1 Homosexual: A person who has a sexual orientation towards people who have a subjective, internal, deeply felt, sense of identity with the roles, aesthetics, cultural norms, stereotypes and expectations associated with people of the their own biological sex.
3.2 Heterosexual: A person who has a sexual orientation towards people who have a subjective, internal, deeply felt, sense of identity with the roles, aesthetics, cultural norms, stereotypes and expectations associated with people of the their opposite biological sex.
3.3 Lesbian: A person with a subjective, internal, deeply felt, sense of identity with the roles, aesthetics, cultural norms, stereotypes and expectations associated with people of the female biological sex, in their given culture and times, who has a sexual orientation towards people who have a subjective, internal, deeply felt, sense of identity with the roles, aesthetics, cultural norms, stereotypes and expectations associated with people of the the female biological sex.
(10)(11)(12)
For clarity, these sexualities have been colloquially referred to as “gender identity based sexual orientations”, meaning that the gender identity of both the person, and the people they feel attracted to, is the determining factor. They also believe that anyone who doesn’t have a sexuality based on gender identities, but, rather, based on biological sex, is the product of hatred or trauma, they are to be internalized or treated as this is a mental disorder, eventually prosecuted or their life ended. (13)(14)
Common arguments presented by Identologysts in order to attempt to justify this notion of sexuality are:
a. Everyone is bisexual: Alfred Kinsey, a pioneering sex researcher, suggested that everyone falls somewhere on a spectrum of sexual orientation, rather than being heterosexual or homosexual. This concept is known as the Kinsey Scale, which ranges from 0 (heterosexual) to 6 (homosexual), with various degrees of bisexuality in between. (24). Basically, they argue that, everyone who is not homosexual, will have homosexual sex if the other person is attractive enough, and vice versa.
b. Humans can’t observe biological sex: Identologysts argue that, humans are not a sexually dysmorphic species, and that every single aspect of someone’s presentation, depends on their fashion choices. They seem really confused when others still observe their biological sex, even after putting on some makeup or wig, which they believe is what makes someone a woman, biologically speaking. (25)
Athletic Competitive Sports
Identologysts violently campaign towards athletic competitive sports to be categorized by gender identities, specially those categories which, due to the known average physical outputs, are categorized by biological sex. They don’t care about any science or studies on the matter, they don’t care about fairness, they only care about sports being categorized by identities. (27)
This means that, there should be two main sports categories:
Category A: For people with a subjective, internal, deeply felt, sense of identity with the roles, aesthetics, cultural norms, stereotypes and expectations associated with people of the male biological sex, in their given culture and times.
Category B: For people with a subjective, internal, deeply felt, sense of identity with the roles, aesthetics, cultural norms, stereotypes and expectations associated with people of the female biological sex, in their given culture and times.
The explanation is rarely clear, as they never give proper explanations as to why these sports categories should be gendered instead of sexed. They use sometimes the same justification for sexual orientations to be gendered: that humans cannot observe biological sex, so, they argue there is no way to enforce for example an “all female sports category”. They will claim that genital inspections or blood tests will be needed in order to determine whether someone may or may not compete.
They will violently kidnap and try to hurt those who oppose. (23)
Prisons
Just like with athletic competitive sports, Identologysts violently campaign towards identity based prison facility segregation. This means that, there should be two main prison facility wings:
Prison Wing A: For people with a subjective, internal, deeply felt, sense of identity with the roles, aesthetics, cultural norms, stereotypes and expectations associated with people of the male biological sex, in their given culture and times.
Prison Wing B: For people with a subjective, internal, deeply felt, sense of identity with the roles, aesthetics, cultural norms, stereotypes and expectations associated with people of the female biological sex, in their given culture and times.
The same vague explanations are given, such as “humans cannot observe biological sex”, so, there is no way to enforce for example an “all female prison facility”. They will claim that genital inspections or blood tests will be needed in order to determine whether someone may or may not be allowed in a certain prison facility.
Historical Figures
According to the definitions provided by Identologysts, individuals such as Joan of Arc, Kurt Cobain, and Mulan would be categorized based on their subjective, internal, deeply felt sense of identity with the roles, aesthetics, cultural norms, stereotypes, and expectations associated with their respective biological sexes in their given culture and times. Considering this perspective, Joan of Arc, who presented herself with short hair, and an armor, and identified with the roles and expectations associated with male figures in medieval society, would be classified as a man, by an identologyst. (28) Similarly, Kurt Cobain, who presented himself as a man and embraced the cultural norms and expectations associated with male musicians during his time, but wore a dress, would be considered a woman.(29) Mulan, though a fictional character, demonstrated a strong identification with the expectations and norms associated with male warriors in ancient China, indicating a male gender identity (man) according to these definitions.
There are numerous other historical figures who are examined through this Identology lens. For instance, Queen Elizabeth I of England, who defied traditional expectations of femininity and exhibited characteristics associated with powerful male rulers of her time, could be seen as having a male gender identity. Similarly, Marlene Dietrich, the German-American actress who challenged gender norms by adopting masculine attire and embodying a strong, independent persona, might be considered a man according to these definitions.
